FROM JACKETS TO THE ENVIRONMENTALIST.
GreenClub - Let Me Breathe.
Rwanda as many other countries all over the world faced a disaster of COVID-19 a great Pandemic Started from China and spread all over the world by the end of 2019.
Rwanda has made counters and measures to stop that pandemic and reduce its impacts on both Economy and its Citizen's life and wellbeing.
One of ways used in the process was to bring YOUTH VOLUNTEERS who used to help in Community policing to the front like. And these ladies and gentlemen did an amazing work which helped country as much.
By the End of year 2021, COVID-19 in Rwanda was not a big threat anyways, so for youth volunteers, it was a time relax and have other ways, thanks to the work done.
One of them got an other idea as a good place to continue with their voices and contribution in the country's development. it was like the next hardest task was created by them, themselves.
On 27/09/2017, the date when GreenClub formed by more than 15 members, and now volunteers in Environment protection and fighting against Climate change we are gathered.
GreenClub is an youth club to the environment protection and action to the climate change, which was formed by Former youth volunteers mostly from Kigali City Market site in Rwanda.
It was going to be a good space to rise up their voices and create awareness in public about Climate Change and Impacts of environmental degradation.
Their works are divided in Three categories.
1. Campaigns as #Plantingonly1treeonmybirthday which will make every person aware of planting at least a tree especially Fruitful tree.
2. General Cleaning, as of which we are going to talk about.
3. Afforestation and Re-afforestation, as Rwanda a developing country, Charcoals are main source of cooking means, trees are at risk,

Following images expresses what has been made.
With limited Personal Protecting Equipment's, they are still working as nothing has happened,
Talking to IMANISHIMWE Samuel the operation Office/r of GreenClub said "Making of differences only requires ambition and a core loving of what you do. For us its not about number its about what we are capable of doing and what we leave in minds of citizens around our working sites"
Gakunzi UWIMBABAZI Vice President said "At first Environment is at its venerable state, as youth we are the one to make changes, that what GreenClub is trying to do. But most of the thing, we as Girls, Ladies And Women, we have to take a leading role in Environment protection no matter what the conditions we are facing"
And the Leader of AKOVE Village remarks " we are excited and proud of youth like these, and our Rwanda Authorities are supportive to the Youth actions. This was an Amazing to host them in Our Village we are blessed, they have to continue and we are here.
All in all, I was surprised to see Youth doing this with no materials no tickets to their homes no payments made but willing.
